SFS Lends a Hand - Survey of Interest/Abilities

Our Interim President, A. John Bramley, has approved up to two paid days leave to complete volunteer service before the end of the year. We would like to seize this as an opportunity to make a difference in our community, and further develop ourselves personally and as a team. Our leadership team would like to close the office for one day to allow all staff to participate in a group volunteer project. We are working with a few organizations/contacts to find the right volunteer opportunity, and need to gather some information from you before we can proceed with the planning. We plan for this opportunity to take place during business hours.

Anyone who chooses to not participate will be expected to come to work as usual, or use vacation/comp/personal time to have the day off. We will turn off the phones and will not be open for walk-in traffic on the day of the volunteer project. Those participating will use one day of the up to two days approved as leave for volunteer service.

Please keep in mind that this is a volunteer opportunity, and by choosing to participate you will take full responsibility for yourself - your health, safety, etc. UVM will not be liable should anything happen to you during the volunteer project or as a result of the volunteer project.

Please direct any questions to Kim or Donna.
