Customer Value Survey: Meat and Poultry Choices

This survey is part of a UVM undergraduate senior thesis project. The project objectives are to collect and synthesize information about local beef and chicken production from actual farms in order to provide meat consumers a more transparent understanding of production and handling practices, and thus make more informed purchase decisions. The goal of this survey is to identify how well consumers understand production practices and interpret labels, how this interpretation impacts their purchase choices, and identify gaps in understanding that can be clarified with research.
